Overview

As a student, you can make an announcement within a group.

To create a group announcement, you need to be a member of a group on Canvas first. 

Make a Canvas Announcement

  1. On Canvas Homepage, click the Groups button, choose your group, then click Announcements to check past announcements, or to create a new one.  


  2. To create a new Group Announcement, on the right side of the screen, click on the Announcement button. Here you can edit Topic Title and the context of the announcement. Then click Save to create your announcement.
