Overview


Pages store content and educational resources that are part of a course or group but don’t necessarily belong in an assignment. Pages can include text, video, and links to files and other course or group content. Pages can also be linked to other pages. Pages provides flexibility in how you present content to students by using Rich Content Editor.


What Can I Do with Pages as an Instructor

  • In a course, instructors can create a new page [1].
  • The Options icon [2] allows Instructors to edit the title of a page, delete a page, use it as the front page, duplicate the page, send a copy of the page to another instructor at the institution, or copy the page to one of the other courses.

  • Post links to websites.
  • Write a document with hyperlinks linked to the documents stored in Files.
  • Embed Panopto videos. Learn more about it here.
  • Embed YouTube videos.
  • Add images.
  • Add a table of contents.
  • Add equation.
  • Create simple icons for your course (new feature). Learn more about it here.
  • Instructors can allow students to edit and contribute to course pages [1].
  • Add the page to student to-do list [2]

New Feature - Schedule Page Publication

New Feature

  • Schedule page publication [3]. After scheduled, pages will be published automatically.

(warning) If the Option of "Publish At" is not available (minus), instructors need to unpublish the page before scheduling for future publication.
