An enrollment verification is used to verify a student’s enrollment or their degree, and is used by a number of different organizations and companies. For instance, most US loan companies work closely with the National Clearinghouse and will automatically verify their student’s enrollment for loan deferment purposes.  SPU sends enrollment information to the National Clearinghouse after the 10th day of the quarter, and again after grades are posted for the quarter.

Need More Information?

Inquiries about enrollment verification can be made at the SAS Main Office in Demaray Hall 151.

If you need to verify your enrollment at SPU before the 10th day of the quarter,

you can request an Enrollment Verification directly from the University.  You can print up a Verification Request found here, fill it out, and return it to the SAS office (DH 151) by mail, fax, or scan and email it to us.

Standard Enrollment Verification letters are printed on SPU letterhead and include the following information about the student:

  • Name and Address
  • ID Number
  • Birthdate
  • Class Standing (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, Doctoral)
  • Primary Major
  • Time Status (Full Time, ¾ Time, ½ Time, ¼ Time)
  • Expected Graduation Date and Term
  • Each quarter that the student has attended, the quarter dates and the time status for each quarter.

***If the Enrollment Verification is sent prior to the 10th day of the quarter it is unofficial and the letter will contain a note indicating that it is unofficial until the 10th day of the quarter has passed.
