DreamSpark is a program set up by Microsoft to provide students with software design and development tools at no charge.

Access DreamSpark for Students

Students wishing to download programs such as Visual Studio as well as variety of other Microsoft Products made available through DreamSpark, must go www.dreamspark.com

Current SPU students may create an account and download software
  1. Navigate to dreamspark.com/Student/.
    1. If you have an existing Microsoft (apart from your SPU account) select Sign In to link it to your DreamSpark account

    2. If you do not have an existing Microsoft account (apart from your SPU account) select Create Account 
      1. Click Continue on the box that appears
      2. From the Microsoft login page, select Sign up now
      3. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a Microsoft account then proceed to link it to DreamSpark account
  2. From the DreamSpark verification page, verify that the account information is accurate and select continue to verify
  3. Select I have a school email account, enter your SPU email and select Verify
    1. Open your SPU email and respond to the verification email
  4. After verifying your school email account, navigate to the software catalog tab to download software
