Overview

SensusAccess

SensusAccess is a free tool that's available to all SPU, that can can convert file formats into other formats or more accessible formats, such as making a PDF more accessible, creating an audio translation of a file, an ebook or creating a file in Daisy or Braille format.

Files are converted in a "fast-food" style format, so while documents become more accessible, they may still be imperfect and students with accommodations should still work with Disability Support Services.

Limitations

Files need to be of good quality and may require some editing after the conversion through SensusAccess.

Using the Tool
