Accessible documents make text readily legible in an electronic format and are compatible with screen readers. This is especially important for students with disabilities, but benefits all students as well.


This video, courtesy of UW DO-IT Center, emphasizes the importance of incorporating accessible documents into all course design. Documents will not need to be made accessible upon request if the work is already done upfront.
