In addition to providing basic support for SPU conference rooms and other spaces with audio-visual technology, CIS also provides consulting and pricing services for new audio-visual installations throughout campus. 

CIS will also help identify other campus partners whose expertise may be needed.  For instance, updated signage for the room/building, furniture acquisition, color scheme selection, accessibility considerations, web page/campus map edits, room reservation procedures, etc.


Campus meeting spaces may include this kind of audio-visual equipment:

  • ceiling mounted data projector and retractable screen
  • podium desktop computer
  • conference phone
  • white boards
  • access to printing/scanning/copying 
  • wireless access point
  • television with cable television service
  • speakers, microphones, and related hardware

Designed For

SPU employees can request CIS partnership in building and maintaining a meeting space. 

For existing spaces that require technical support, SPU students and employees should request assistance from the CIS Help Desk; Conference Services guests should contact Conference Services for tech support or other maintenance needs.
