The CIS Leadership Team
Technology Support Services
The support services team is mostly known for running the CIS HelpDesk. However there are other important sides to this team. They support faculty, staff and students over the phone, email and walk-in. TSS is also responsible for facilitating people checking out equipment and setting up equipment for events. They maintain, service, and repair all University owned computers in Offices across campus.
Business Systems Analysts team meets with departments to run projects, design new systems and to improve the usage of currently provided offerings.
Business Intelligence Team
The Business Intelligence Team oversees the institution's enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence tools used for strategic reporting. They also work with University stakeholders in data governance and modeling.
Software and Data Systems
The Development Team writes custom code to build integration between systems and minor modifications to other SPU systems to help them better meet University needs. They also provide technical support to department system administrators and administer institutional databases and security.
The IS team is responsible for providing internet, telephone and TV service to campus. They build, maintain, and secure both the wired and wireless campus networks. The IS Team is also responsible for building, maintaining and securing the hardware environment (servers and storage) on which all enterprise technology at SPU runs. Infrastructure Services is also responsible for backup of institutional data and disaster recovery.
Network / Telecom Administrators
The Accounting Team manages CIS's budget, payments, and computer equipment inventory.
